No accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics or tracking. We (Bangel Customs LLC) do not run a server that receives your data. Everything you create stays on your device.
If you allow it, your device's location is used on your device to show where you are, measure distances and plan sits. Your location is never sent to us. To show weather, wind and sunrise/sunset for the place you are looking at, the app sends that map coordinate to public weather services (U.S. National Weather Service api.weather.gov and Open-Meteo). Map imagery is loaded from public tile providers (USGS, Wisconsin DNR, our own map server on Cloudflare), which, like any website, see the area being viewed and your IP address. Place searches you type are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim.
Photos you take or pick for a pin are stored only on your device (browser storage). They are never uploaded.
Stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them. We cannot see or recover them.
The app is not directed to children under 13.
Updates will be posted on this page.
